Q. Are there any showers on the island?

It is called Chao Koh Tour and has the camping signs out front.

You need to meet the rest of the group to at the main pier on Phi Phi Don at 3:30 for a 4:00 pm departure. Look for the Reggae coloured camping boat on the small pier at the end of the main pier.
Make sure you bring your receipt with you.

Q. What is for dinner?
A. Penang Chicken (medium spicy), mixed vegetables in oyster sauce and steamed rice. Supper is BBQ chicken or fish.
Q. What is the weather like in low season?
A.Thailand weather is unpredictable from May to November. I have learnt there is no weather forecast you can rely on. The weather in Phi Phi is different from Phuket and different from Krabi.
It actually rains less on Phi Phi Don and less again on Phi Phi Ley (Maya Bay))
That said the weather is normally really good. It might rain most days in those months but hard and short most times. Because it is hot anyway you don’t mind and actually like it. However maybe 3 times per year it will rain for 3 or 4 days straight the problem is you can’t predict when that will happen.
As a guide for the last 2 years we would normally cancel 2 camping trips per month due to bad weather. We do have cover if it rains when we camp and some of my favorite memories include swimming in Maya Bay in torrential rain.
If you come camping with us and we have to cancel due to bad weather we will try and reschedule or offer you a full refund.
Q. Is the camping suitable for Children?
A.To be honest we prefer not to take children but do not want to discriminate against people with children who really want to come and camp.
There are some safety issues you need to be aware of. In low season (April to November) waves can be rough and we may need to get to Maya Bay through a back entrance which will require swimming and then climbing onto a ladder. This can be a bit scary for non swimmers.
Also you need to be aware that most of our customers are in their early twenties and like to party so it can get noisy. That said you can always escape down the beach away from the noise.
If you are concerned that drinking and noise from partying may be a problem for you or your child then you may wish to reconsider your booking.
We have taken many under 18s with their parents and they have had a great time.
On occasions we have also had complaints from parents about the unsuitability for children.
